GFL Shaking Water Bath 1092 orbital motion With microprocessor controlled temperature regulation. Shaking Water Baths are particularly used whenever exactly reproducible temperatures are required for shaking tasks. Their scope of applications comprises incubations, fermentations, homogenisations, chemical and biochemical reactions, enzyme and tissue studies. Control: soft touch keys with characteristic symbols, digital, in steps of 0.1°C. Two-finger-operation to prevent unintentional alterations of the set value. Indication of shaking speed by digital display. Safety: electronic monitoring of the temperature controller. In case of fault, the cause is reported in the display. Two independently working over-temperature protections (over-temperature cut-out and low water cut-off). Drive: Maintenance-free and low-wear shaking mechanism, continuously adjustable electronic speed control, gentle start-up. Constant speed independent of load. The shaking device is driven by an overload-protected ac motor. Bath interior: heating element, bath interior, cover, lid and shaking basket are made of Stainless Steel. Shaking device can be removed for cleaning purposes. Housing: corrosion proof exterior housing made of electrolytically galvanised sheet steel, powder-coated. A double-walled, arched insulating lid reduces heat loss and prevents condensate from dripping back into the vessels. The clearly laid-out control panel is built in recessed for a better protection of the controls. Cooling coil built-in as standard, for applications below ambient temperature. For connection to the water mains or to an external recirculating chiller. Standard equipment: lid and drain cock (rear side of the unit). The Shaking Water Bath is maintenance-free, has the CE and EAC mark. * other voltages available on request
